Lobbying for Change:

• Find out the name of your MP or the Senators from your state on the Parliament of Australia website.
• Write an effective letter – here are some resources:
  • How to Get Politicians’ Attention – Electronic Frontiers Australia
  • Writing to your MP – Oxfam Australia
• Conclude your letter with a request for a meeting.
• Follow up.

Look at the Letters page for samples/ideas. But remember that a letter written in your own words will be the most effective.
